Pain and its control is a Specialist Module authored and presented by Professor Tony Dickenson. It has been accredited for 2 hours by the UKCEA and is now available on CHANGE PAIN.

Mechanism-oriented Pharmacological Management of Chronic Pain
The Describer Tool is a new useful tool to help patients describe pain accurately.
A number of diagnostic tools are now available for download - a Dermatome Map, an Abbey Pain Scale and a blank Body Map.
The 2nd module in the Chronic Pain Management series, Multimodal Management of Chronic Pain, is now live.
The Vicious Circle is a new useful tool, helping healthcare professionals to work with patients on their pain management.
The new Useful tools section provides you with an electronic version of the CHANGE PAIN scale, which has been made available for use with patients.
A recording of the 'Manchester Inquiry' at the recent BPS Symposium is now available.
New CME - Chronic Pain Management: Assessing pain and physician-patient communication - is now available. The module has been granted accreditation by the UKCEA for two hours.

CHANGE PAIN is hosting the ‘Manchester Inquiry’ symposium, investigating whether understanding mechanisms improve outcomes in chronic pain.
The inquiry will be chaired by Beverley Collett (Consultant in pain medicine, University Hospitals of Leicester), and will take place immediately after registration on
Tuesday 13th April, 14:00 – 15:30 in the Exchange Auditorium.
